For families of memory-care residents

The science behind your parent’s good days.

The Tuesday your mother says your name. The dinner your father finishes a whole story. Those moments aren’t luck — and a former Space Shuttle Chief Engineer spent years learning how to help them happen more often.

Tap for sound

Most families carry both love and grief through those doors. You love the person who remains — and you grieve the one who is fading. Then a good day arrives out of nowhere: she looks up and says your name, and you sit in the parking lot afterward wondering if you imagined it. You didn’t. Those moments are real, they’re measurable, and new research shows they can be supported.

What this book will never claim.

It will not tell you this is a cure for Alzheimer’s or dementia — because it isn’t, and the author says so on the first pages. The losses cognitive decline causes are real. What the book argues is more modest, and more useful: that the people living with those losses have more good moments available to them than current care supports, and that safe, practical, evidence-backed tools now exist to help. You’re invited to evaluate the case yourself.

Voices from the Phase 1 study

“Her cognitive ability improved so much that I questioned whether this was my imagination.”

— Joy P., Phase 1 Study Participant

“I stopped using my device for a week and realized how much it was actually helping.”

— Phase 1 Study Participant

“I noticed better clarity and less stress.”

— Susan R., Study Participant
